Tuesday, September 7, 2004

ACI Aviation Consulting has purchased the Airliner Price Guide, the oldest and most respected aircraft value reference resource in the commercial aircraft industry.

The Airliner Price Guide (APG) has a wide subscriber base and is utilized by numerous banks, leasing companies, manufacturers, consultants, government agencies and taxing authorities for aircraft and engine valuations.

ACI President, Mr. Quentin Brasie, declared, “In the near future, the APG database of aircraft & engine values and other technical information will go on the Internet, giving the aircraft industry real time information.” Since 1985 the APG has been published several times a year, but with the coming online services, the guide will be able to provide the very latest aircraft industry information.

Jack Richards, the founder of the APG, will remain on as a senior consultant to ACI Aviation Consulting/APG and be its co-editor. Richards commented, “I am joining with ACI Aviation Consulting to advance the impact of the Airliner Price Guide in the marketplace, broaden the customer base, and transition the publication into a growing venture as co-editor and advisor.”

For the past five years, Brasie of ACI and Richards of the Airliner Price Guide, have had a professional relationship and Brasie has served as the guide’s Director of Valuations.
